Several avenues for support are available for the Woods. The simplest is just to write a letter, make a call, or send an e-mail in support of preserving the woods to a legislator, council member, or board member.

First check this site for the latest news on Birch Island Woods and the Eden Prairie News and its electronic archives at its web site at http://edenprairienews.com/ then , cogitate, combining passion, facts and logic and write, write your little finger tips off.  Have a spouse or friend check it for you (to protect you from going over the top) then use Spell Check if you’re electronic and the eyes of an honest friend if you’re organic.  Then send the truth off to your favorite editor or government official (see addresses below) and send copies to us
